THE FRAUD OF COMMUNISM
Vladimir Kämpfer
The confusion of what Communism actually is and its application as a political doctrine causes heated debates in the political arena. However, taking time to dissect the ideology of Communism in comparison to reality quickly lends the reader to understand that Communism is a fraud and is impossible for any nation to be prosperously ruled under. Vague in description, the elements of Communism appear very attractive to the common reader who may have stumbled upon its presentation provided that the reader can sift through the verbose and confusing language used.
The attraction is, however, a ploy to deceive a population into complete and total control under the State; oftentimes under the most extreme and brutal of circumstances. Using the guise of equality and freedom of all from oppression, Communism strikes itself as being the utopian system of society. Why, if its tenets are so utopian in nature, does Communism continue to fail again and again resulting in millions of lives lost and destroyed with lasting effects on its nation afterward?
Communism was brought into existence by primarily one man: Karl Marx. Marx, born Jewish in Prussia in 1818, had a history of political activity earlier in life. Later, he would co-author The Communist Manifesto with Friedrich Engels, published February 21, 1848. The doctrine essentially calls for the removal of power from the bourgeoisies (middle class to elite) for the emancipation of the oppressed proletariat (workers of lower or lowest class). To most, this sounds extremely attractive. The manifesto takes a great amount of space dictating the struggles of class warfare within the confines finance capitalism; but ultimately proposes the following ten points (written verbatim of actual text):
1. Abolition of property in land and application of rents of land to public purposes.
2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
3. Abolition of all right of inheritance.
4. Confiscation of property of all emigrants and rebels.
5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
6. Centralization of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.
7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of waste-lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
8. Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of the population over the country.
10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.
The points call for a complete centralization and control of all property, monies and other wealth, education, transportation and communications as well as for the displacement of people at the States discretion. This paints a very sinister picture and it doesn’t take much imagination of the mind to understand why Communism (even in the classical sense) is doomed to fail from the beginning.
Communism simply fails for the basic reason that it only perpetuates the problems it seeks to eradicate. The theory of Communism differs greatly from the reality. The application of these ten points leads to automatic totalitarian control of one group over another with the huge transfers of wealth from people to those in the State. Communism inadvertently creates two new social class extremes of its own in the quest to remove social barriers in the first place. Those working in the State controlling all the wealth and property are now the people who hold all of the countries wealth and power, otherwise termed as the rich elite or bourgeoisies. The regular population becomes the new super poor living at the discretion of the State in all matters of life, otherwise called the proletariat. Communism becomes a micro-managerial-totalitarian system and actually perpetuates the proletariat oppression by the bourgeoisies, stirring the very same social tensions.
As stated in point number eight, the Communist Manifesto suggests that all will have to work; breaking up the traditional relationship of man and woman. Women are encouraged to work which essentially makes it a competition between two genders that, in a functioning society, would not exist. This is not to say that women were not allowed to work previously, but just escalates gender tensions. It’s also interesting to realize that the more people working, the more the people could be taxed and the more money that could be made for the State.
Other interesting points, such as points nine and ten indicate a breakup of population and free public education for children. This could obviously only mean that children would be indoctrinated into a society that would be pre-approved by the Communist State , whether or not the information taught was to be truthful or beneficial to the future generations. The breaking up of populations to distribute them across the territory could only suggest that Communism sought out to minimize the possibility of any one large city from gaining any Anti-Communist feelings; thus allowing for easier control.
Aforementioned above, Communism goes into great detail about the evils of capitalism. However, Communism actually is nothing more than finance capitalism itself. Finance capitalism can be defined as making money from money. The centralization of credit and money is simply another term for a private central bank. A private bank works off of a debt-based monetary system where the debt created doesn’t exist and can never actually be paid back since the money in circulation is never enough to repay the total amount of money owed plus the money in circulation. In America , this type of bank is called the Federal Reserve and works off of the exact same fraudulent principles.
Communism also fails to understand that people are not equal to each other. For example, two individuals of the same race are not equal to each other and to say that they’re equal to that of another race is also false, and vice versa. The genetic and biological differences between races is significantly different; not to mention the differences of intelligence and ability of two of the same race. Two people of any race or cultural background will have intelligence and ability differences which make them all unique and different in many aspects, enabling them to contribute to society to the best of their ability in their own personal ways. However, Communism calls for social diversity, otherwise known as multiculturalism, ignoring the simple basic fact that people are not equal and forcing them to live together as equals which causes the same social tensions it set out to fix in the first place. This is a problem because culture is perpetuated by the host nation, or homogeneous society. With the breakdown of the homogeneous society, the country’s cultural identity ceases to exist. Conveniently, this makes a country’s population easier to manipulate and control since materialism and money become the new mediums of identity that replaced what originally would have been a cultural identity.
Communist regimes rarely represent the population of the country and complete control is extended to all within its borders. This control is generally exerted ruthlessly and brutally with extreme propaganda of social media and suppression of all mediums of expression. All political opposition is removed, generally by force, and any organizing is generally banned; especially if it’s an organization against Communist itself. The true grim reality of Communism is far from the utopian picture painted by The Communist Manifesto.
While some read this essay, a percentage of you will suddenly have a flash of Germany ’s National Socialism. National Socialism and Communism have been compared in the past, usually in a way to make them both look inherently evil. With a quick comparison in reality we will be able to understand that National Socialism was in no way an inhibiting political force of oppression against its people like Communism always turns out to be.
First and foremost, Adolf Hitler was appointed Chancellor of Germany in a peaceful legal voting process. He was elected fairly by his peers. Imperialist Russia was taken by force. The Romanov family was murdered in a basement and the citizens of Yekaterinburg were terrorized day-in and day-out. Many were executed and starved as their businesses were torn down, wealth stolen and means of production stripped from them.
A hotbed of tension comes against National Socialism for being a racist regime. Upon further investigation we find this to be completely false. National Socialism recognized the importance of a homogeneous culture and provided a positive atmosphere for this culture to perpetuate itself. Minorities were not slaughtered, not even Jews, but were highly encouraged to assimilate and claim allegiance to the German nation. In fact, National Socialist Germany understood the importance of working together with other peoples as well as continuing a homogeneous society. Communism, on the other hand, forces the idea of multiculturalism and the breakdown of traditional homogeneous culture and social decency in favor of equality for all. This is done by creating minority rights and special programs and privileges, civil rights, sexual equality, etc.
Private businesses and private property was not taken over by the State in National Socialism. National Socialism did not micro-manage your daily life. Regarding business practices in National Socialist Germany, interest income was abolished. This meant that you had to be creating a physical or intellectual good or service to receive payment – there was no percentage interest income.
This leads us directly into economics and as far as National Socialism and Communism is concerned, they’re on opposite ends of the field. As stated earlier, Communism employs finance capitalism; or making money from money. The monetary system is printed without value and the market system is built up on manipulated fiat monies where the money created does not represent the products that exist in the economy. National Socialism, on the other hand, had aspects of regular capitalism, but the difference was that the money in the system actually existed and had a worth as it was backed by labor and was equivalent to the products that existed. Hitler’s revival of Germany ’s economy is known to be “The Economic Miracle.” However, there was no miracle about it. In National Socialist Germany economy, money was backed by labor and the production, time, effort and materials was used to price a product. There was no imaginary debt to ever pay back.
Communist regimes suppressed and regulated every form of social medium or artistic expression in a way that only promoted the Communist ideal regardless of how the homogenous society perpetuated its culture in the past. While it is true that National Socialism burned books; the books being burned were Anti-Germanic propaganda and other material that was a degradation of Germany society. As a general rule, Hitler did not suppress or stifle the arts or media.
Finally, we come to the comparison of social classes. The whole doctrine of Communism is for the utopian society and the equality of all. The steps taken to create this utopian society are built on destructive principals and maintained by ruthless force of aggression which ultimately leads to a bloody end. The real accomplishment of National Socialism was its ability to get the social classes to work together and understand that each class needed each other for the greater good of Germany ; and this is exactly what happened. Workers were praised for their labor and the upper classes were praised for their continued educational advancements
The continued confusion of Communism will perpetuate as long as the truth remains covered and distorted. We have learned through the failure of Communist nations of the past that it’s political and social ideals are destined to fail because Communism is not about social equality or social progress at all; but just another monumental fraud to steal the power and wealth of a country and leave its population with the baggage.
